In our age of  Artificial Intelligence,   Lincoln Guild resident Julie Wosk will speak about the social and cultural impact of  AI.  Today’s  AI—including artificial companions,  sex robots,  AI caregivers—are having a dramatic impact on social relationships,   and our ideas about what makes us human.   AI has  also  captured the imagination of today’s artists, writers,  and   filmmakers.

Julie Wosk is a professor emerita and the author of several books including  Artificial Women: Sex Robots,  Robot Caregivers, and More Facsimile Females;  and Women and the Machine:  Representations From the Spinning Wheel to the Electronic Age.   See the Wikipedia page.
